PWEI Remixes, B-Sides & Rarities Vol.3 - Discussion Thread

Just checked my 2 Fingers My Friends promo - it's in the standard Infectious Records X sleeve with a sticker on the front. The sticker reads: Cape Connection (Secret Knowledge Trousered Up Dub Mix) & Underbelly (The Drum Club Bugbeats Mix). The vinyl labels are the standard promo blank on one side & "PWEI Communications" on the other.

Also, I'd forgotten I'd got the Golden Claw Musics 10". Must give that a spin. Interestingly, the label attached to the sleeve by whatever store I bought it in (pretty sure it was Swordfish in Birmingham) says Golden Claw Musics is a "pre BRA outfit", rather than being Crabbie & ex-PWEI.

Stoned of the 10 inch GCM sounds ace at 45...think it was pressed this way so you could play it 33 or 45.

Hi all, I've been digging around trying to find a copy of the LOADED game that has the PWEI inlay with it. In the course of this I've found out that the CD-ROM was designed to play the soundtrack of the game in a standard CD player. Someone a while back queried if the 2 x PWEI tracks were in any way unique to the game.

I think one is the LP version and one a remix from TTMF. Can anyone with the game to hand try spinning it in a CD player to confirm? Loads of cheap tatty copies on the market but I'm looing for a mint copy with the inlay so it may take me a while to find one.

From memory the Apollo 440 remix of RSVP was in there, and also a version of Kick to Kill but can't remember if it was the DDMA version, Foetus remix, or another mix.

I have the game rom on my pc, I checked the files and Kick to Kill is the Foetus mix (lenght 5:00)

Well, I only really want it for the inlay so that doesn't hurt me too much. Loaded is a car boot regular so I will probably pick one up this year.
