This video is the most original and unique thing that PWEIv2.0 have done so far, I have to give them that.

I like it but I agree it only works if you know the song. I don't think it's back slapping. It's nice to see the fans giving there say...if it wasn't for them theyw ould be playing to an empty hall in that vid.

It's a bit like the clip from the UBP video isn't it?

Shame you can't actually buy the single the video is for... the single that was also single of the week on Radio 6 ages ago.

The two videos they have done so far appear to be aimed at completely different markets. The first looked to me to be aimed at 'the kids' whereas this one is clearly aimed at 'the fans'. Nothing really wrong with that, it's good to cover several bases. I just hope they've not given up on the first and belatedly tried to please the second.

I'm sure it's all part of the masterplan.

The above is entirely my opinion. Other's are also available.

Also, agree with what others have said on this and other threads about it being a shame that you can't seem to actually buy a version of this single that is 'worth' buying.

p.s. Out of the two, I prefer this one by far. But then I've always liked live shots in music videos and if what I say above is true, then this one is aimed at me, and therefore it is the one i would like more.

um, thought it was a bit shit as a promo, would be good on a live tour vid, but as a way to promote the band, a bunch of drunk, ageing, balding, chubby chaps talking over the song is not going to get any new fans (and this is coming from a drunk, ageing, balding, chubby chap) it reminds me of when you see ads for films when they ask the crowd what they thought and put on the good responses

Pretty much my thoughts too, especially the film advert bit. It's a good idea to try something different but it doesn't really work for me. Having said that, I don't think there's ever been a PWEI video that I thought was awesome anyway.
