Lyrics section?

Postby Stubborn Puppet » Fri Jan 06, 2012 4:02 pm

I have frequently, especially for New Noise, wondered about the exact words in specific songs... but cannot usually find reliable lyrics anywhere on the web. I can tell they aren't reliable when I look at them and I know more of the correct lyrics than the person who wrote the ones I'm seeing.

Soooo, what would it take to get a lyrics section up on the pweination?

For my first query:

In Chaos and Mayhem, I'm trying to figure out the part where they refrain something to the effect of, "Headset on discovery a, headset on discovery a..." Huh? Is that what they're saying? If so, what the heck does "discovery a" mean? Even then, what on earth does headset on discovery have to do with this song? Not that lyrics always have to make sense...

I first thought it was "headset on discovering it..." or "headset on discovery, yes!"... but then I listened to the remix where the ladies are singing it and they seem to say "A".

Help me. I can't get the song out of my head, so I might as well be singing it to myself correctly.

Err, unless my memory is really playing silly tricks on me... aren't the lyrics printed in the booklet?

"Big Mac, Fries to go" is all you need to remember.

That's a bit odd that you got no booklet.

No matter, it looks as if some kind person has scanned the entire booklet for discogs.com, lyrics and all:

Well S#!t!, I didn't get the booklet with my disc at all. Sucks, because I ordered it from the UK through a local store so I didn't have to wait a month to get the US copy... so I can't exactly get a replacement without buying another.

Nevertheless, I still think a Lyrics section on the site would be cool.

Thanks Warsaw.

Its probably too late and maybe even this isnt the time or the place but....

Ive always thought the inlay card on the cassette version of Dos Dedos Mis Amigo fucked up my eye-sight. Trying to read the lyrics was nothing short of retina melting.
