Always intended to read that Stewart Lee book. Just finished Disgusting Bliss by Lucian Randall:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Disgusting-Blis ... 290&sr=8-2A kind of biography of Chris Morris. I say kind of as it barely fulfills that; it's more an indepth look at his early career and tails off after Brass Eye and Blue Jam. S'alright. I guess he deserves better.
Ohm - read the Master & Marguerita myself last year. It really is an exceptional book. I think I fell in love with it a bit. Quite tempted by Dead Souls by Nikolai Gogol for a cheery bit of January reading. Am currently on a bit of a James Ellroy jag and had forgotten quite how stomach churning the violence can be with him. Clandestine is terrific, but good lord, it is horrible in places.
