Yep that's true. It was to help the other members get to know the songs when they did the 20th anniversary shows for those albums though to answer your question.

Yeah, and getting shirty about what deceased friends may or may not have approved of is a bit naughy in my book. Its too easy.

It's a no-win for the Stuffies on that one. The new line-up had to perfect those songs for the gigs and doing a re-record is a great way of doing this. If they release the sessions some people cry disrespect to the sadly deceased members, but if the recordings existed and weren't released as many people would complain that they can't get hold of these mythical sessions...

I think you all need to focus on what's important here - that Wonderstuff ended up with a member of J*s*s Jones in the ranks and, thank our lucky stars the new PWEI didn't.
