Their Law

Postby Hylas » Fri Nov 04, 2011 8:39 am

Hup!

Is there a full vocal studio version of 'Their Law' kicking about anywhere?
Does one exist at all, or was it foregone to let the Prodge calim all the kudos?

Cheers for any info!

The only studio version is the one on Jilted Generation. I believe Ohm said as much when investigating for the potential Dos Dedos reissue. It's a shame as I'd love to hear a version with Clint's fill vocals.

I reckon this is the most repeated PWEI forum question ever. The answer should be part of the forum front page to save people some time. Or something like 'PWEICOMMUNICATIONS - DONT ASK US ABOUT 'THEIR LAW'.

And no offence to the original poster, we've all wondered it at some point.

Fuck 'em and their questions about 'Their Law'.

Nah, everything's cool. I have no idea why they didn't let Clint and Gra rap on the track - It's very long, so there would be enough instrumental time, and they did let Kool Keith rap on "Diesel Power" (Which is ABSOLUTE PROOF that most Rap should be produced by Big Beat producers). Maybe something will surface with the DDMA re-issue.

I'm not sure which version is my favourite, probably the version Gra and Mary do now. I always thought Clint's "Question the answers" refrain was a bit strained.

Graham's raps are more minimal, thus the track retains more of it's instrumental roots.
