Yes - the original vinyl LP was something like 59 minutes (29.5 minutes per side) and the volume adjusted accordingly to fit on a vinyl LP. The dominant format was vinyl at the time. *just*

The pic disc LP issued March 91 featured an extra 8 minutes of music and also was only one slab, so even quieter. The CFS album side one was completed a few days before side two had final mixes locked down.

As was often the case, it was last minute. If I remember correctly, the final mixes for the VMNP ep were sent off for mastering the same day the band flew out of the UK for a tour. The band were in the studio the morning and flying out in the afternoon. I wasn't actually in the room at the time, mind you.

Greetings all, apologies again for the delay with these. My understanding is that This Is This will ship on Monday, Cure for Sanity is in manufcature now and Looks is imminent, literally finally approved the master today. Some great detail bought out in the mastering, sounds cool. Little synth bits, a few vocal samples etc. Sooo, its nearly, very nearly there. I've actually been laid up with an operation then a post op infection (MRSA, believe it or not) this past fortnight, which hasn't helped.

Really hope people will dig them once they're in hand. I'm nervous as "£%$ after all the to-ing and fro-ing with the mastering and various versions flying about. it only takes one sloppy pressing plant employee to cock up months of hard work.

Hope you are on the mend...claims direct If I were you! However I assume they made you sign some sort of disclaimer before they put you under?

Thanks. I actually apreciated the delay as I was more skint last month than this month. I think.

I may buy two this month and 1 next. What are my options -which do I buy first, second and third? Which has the best extras?
