I don't think anyone who likes it is blindly liking it. They like it cos' it rocks there world. I thinks it's ace. It's a top pop tune and very different to any other PWEI single.

I should probably spill that I hunted down 3 x NNDBAS promos* on behalf of myself and 2 other peeps so yes, hopefully expect another view on it soon.

I also got offered a promo of the single. I accepted the offer of course but alas it's either never been dispatched or it's lost now. I Don't think there are any other tracks or remixes on there though.

*One of them was picked up at a car boot sale by an old skool poppies fan who picked it up out of interest and then kindly passed it on. What are the chances?

Ok, so having a different musical taste to someone else is 'grumpy' is it?

Surely I'm allowed to not like the new single?!!!

It was merely a joke. Let's draw a line under this one now!

I'm not putting my review on the front page as it's crap (my review). All in all I really like this but I don't want to spoil it for you as it's like looking at your Xmas presents before Santa comes. If youlike a surptise then avoid this. To be honest I don't think I'm giving much away.

Back 2 Business
When the levee breaks drum sample. Good song but is really just an intro. I’d like to hear more like this. I guess this will be the opener to gigs?

Chaos and Mayhem.
I love this. Proper rock song with a great Riff and a proper sing-a-long hit. I reckon this will become part of their regular live set. Brilliant. My daughter loves this one. We’re simple folk and like our meat-and-potatoes rock (I’m a vegetarian too).

Nosebleed Turbo TV.
PB3000 wasn’t so keen on this. If I’m honest I didn’t really go for all the VE stuff but I like this. A very simple guitar riff with lots of bells and whistles and blokes singing.

Captain Plastic.
I think ther's a surprise vocal sample on this one, briefly? I like it. Nice drums, nice guitars and two people singing. Some pinging pianos. I’m not very good at reviewing stuff, am I? This is a grower. Didn’t like it first time. “Captain Plastic, a struggle with reality”

Mask
I’m not sure about this one. Paul likes it but I don’t. I’m trying.

Equal Zero
Retro-dreaming with more guitars and a drumming. I really like the original riff on this which remains. Not particularly controversial to me, I just like it. There’s some swearing in it which is always nice. I reckon this is a good’un. There’s a few bits which I think could come out really nice on some remixes. “We’re all equal zero”

Oldskool Cool
Sounds like a GBOA song to me; which isn’t a bad thing. Fast tempo electrobeats. Erm. Actually checking the VE version. Mary Byker on that too.

Disguise
PB likes this, I’m not so keen. It’s got a 80s gothy bass line. Also a bit of a Pendulum feel? Reminds me of something else... can’t think.

Wasted Part 1
Didn’t like this one but it’s growing on me. It’s got a soundtrack feel to it with nice guitars/keyboard and some drums. All sounds very subdued but good.

Wasted part 2
Very similar to the VE reprise, to me.

Actually MASK is my current least favourite. NBT TV is getting better with more listens.

Yes there is a touch of The Cure to the guitar in Disguise. This is still my joint fav with C&M.

Wasted is subdued? It's bangin'!

Do you mean the 'Popeye' bit at the end of CP?
