Graham Crabb is a founder member of Pop Will Eat Itself and spearheads the band’s current revival. During downtime before the band's next LP, Crabb spent his time recording new solo material - inspired by his love of street/punk-poetry by the likes of Sleaford Mods, The Streets and Audio Bullys and also inspired by contempt for UK & World Politics.
Crabbi’s solo material is volatile stuff that pulls no punches. The rap/rant delivery blends surreal situations, vicious character assassinations and dry, dark humour. Song subjects include Apple's U2 giveaway, Boris Johnson's return to politics, ridiculous conversational styles, TV talent shows, BMW drivers, porn censorship and real life rock and roll tales. Thunderous bass & sculptured beats provide the backdrop to Crabbi’s biting lyrics and (anti)social commentary.
Debut EP including lead track Bonophobic is to be released in February.
