finally got round to seeing Requiem for a Dream, not bad at all, a feel good movie if i've ever seen one ;)

Properly top notch UK comedy darkness. Great plot, great cinematography, great accents, great script. Seriously good stuff.

I watched new Zealand 80's Sci Fi Flick The Quiet Earth on Sunday - won't spoil it for anyone but it's really good stuff...last man on earth plot which lovers of OZ NZ cinema will love. Alos watched new Hostel / Action hybrid flick Raze. It's about women captured and forced to fight to the death in a seedy prison. It's brutal stuff and really very good. Quite stylised in a Tarantino / Roth way wth a very good score to boot.

If you like Sightseers then you should watch Mike Leigh's Nuts In May. Not as violent, but much more painful to watch. It's brilliant.
