I was hoping it wasn't the case. I've only heard from a few people that went years ago and still go, and they mostly take the 'well, it had to change, it had got too big, victim of it's own success' line.

I think, from most of what I have seen/heard, it's just completely different people that go to it these days. I spose at the prices they charge, and having to book so far in advance, you are looking at a different crowd. Or maybe the exact same crowd, but grown up & earning a decent whack!

I've been going to glast since 89, still love it, it has changed and in some ways for the better, not as many tents being robbed now, but there is more of the the only way is Chelsea type ppl there, going coz it's trendy, we were watching pil and some twats next to us said to each other, whos this, oh its the man from the butter ads!! i do think murder should be leagal for things like that!! I'll still keep going, and as I'm getting older, I don't mind it being a bit corporate, I'm not trying to smash the system any more
