I woke up one night - about 2 months ago and realised they used the pre - CFS version on the 1990 tour...and we had a few bootlegs I had cleaned up. I found one that had almost no crowd noise in and was really well captured. Considering I spent months working on the bootleg collection years ago, it seems odd that the solution was staring me in the face...guess my subconscious woke me to tell me what an idiot I was. It's not an amazing recording of the speech but with a bit of fixing up it sounds great really.

Hi,

I've worked out the listing by how the tracks flow...it's pure co-inkydink that they seem to fall into eras. I did notice this whilst I was doing it but stuck with my gut feeling. Some tracks fit well together and sound great after certain ones and some have intros and outros that compliment each other. There are probably many variations that would work...the last third has been reworked after I decided to have Fuses close 'side one' and back 2 Business open 'Side two'. It's all on one disk but I've tried to get an album flow with the shorter 'interlude' tracks interspersed. It's working very well. I wouldn't worry about NFAF stuff belng lumped together...on is industrial, one is dream pop and one is guitar drums indie rock.. or LTOTL - one is jump up DnB, one is acoustic and one is moody soundscape funk rock...sort of....in fact the whole project is really varied and not tiresome.

Oh and as for Orgyone Stimulator - I dropped it to do Seek & Destroy as NNDBAS needed some respect from us.OS was going nowhere due to over thinking it but I have plans to finish it at some point. Seek & Destroy is pretty OK if you like bangin' tunes with robots on them. And beeps and sirens and explosions.

This sounds properly fucking amazing.

Can't wait to hear it (still no joy for me with the soundbite).

Really looking forward to this. The point about bunching same-era tracks together I definitely agree with for compilation albums, but as PB says I think we've got some really varied interpretations and the overall flow of the tracks is the main thing for me. The Sonic Noise Byte has got me really impatient for the full thing!
