Actually I got a couple of 'proper' digi pak releases from Amazon yesterday and to be honest the samples the printer sent me are every bit as good as something I just paid £16 off from a proper label..so I think we will all be happy with them. I've been laying out some artwork and playing around...

Please don't leave me out! I promise I'll get vocals recorded and mixed before then!!! Just so busy with work (usual excuses!) and I live in a small flat and I'm a bit embarrassed about shouting 'VERY METAL NOISE POLLUTION!' when my flatmates are in the next room >_<

Don't worry - we can hang on...I will actually be out of action first couple of week in April for some minor surgery so I doubt I will have the artwork nailed down until end of April / May.

Gonna do this one justice!

You can send me your sleeve note credits / track info ahead of the mix though if you can...so I can figure out the layout.

Do be honest. I can take it.

I've got an Orange bass amp arriving in the next few days, so I may like to take another go at the bass track to come up with a nicer, rounder sound than the flat digital crap I get from a line straight into the Fast Track Pro.

Further, I have no @#$%ing clue what he says after the first and second verses, so I just made up sounds that seemed like they fit.

Finally, the pick slide feels, to me, overlong ... but I didn't know what else to put there. I do like the tapping of the pick against the strings for harmonics at eighth-note intervals, though; I think it came out nicely.

I will go back through the thread and see who has not yet submitted...and see what's what. Really May time to tie it all up?

I'm still struggling with mine. I just can't get a bass sound that works with the track...everything I try sounds shit. It's driving me mad.
