Strange Happenings on Discogs

Postby TheFinkie » Sun May 06, 2018 11:35 pm

Tim has removed himself from Pop Will Eat Itself on Discogs! What could this mean?

(Actually, he shouldn't have just removed himself (Discogs rules  ), because he was an official member. I don't know how to correct him because I don't know if he's hinting that he is no longer in the band..)

Shame. For me Tim was a huge part of the PWEI sound and great live. But on the other hand it seems like Adam and Richard are back in the live line-up at least.

Guessing too many clashes with his Numan and The Strange work plus Rich and The Buzzard making more appearances with the Poppies?

Seems like the same thing with Jason too, don't think he's drummed with them for a couple of years.

I can't say I'm surprised seeing as all of the 'new members' have their fingers in a lot of pies. It's a shame but if the side effect of this is more Rich & Buzzard then it's not all bad!

Couldn't have said it better myself -- although I thought I heard Mr. Mole was also making appearances?
Anyway, I guess I'll fix Tim's Discogs page to list him as an ex-member  I hope we're not mistakenly jumping to conclusions!

Adam is indeed back to climbing on his keyboard stand :)

Jason is now a full time member of Bullet For My Valentine after touring with them for years.

I wonder how much of an effect all this will have on the next PWEI album? It's not like Graham can't do most of it himself on ProTools or whatever for studio work but will touring get a bit more difficult? Obviously there's other guitarists and drummers out there (is Fuzz too busy?) but looking for new members must take time. Here's hoping Rich, Adam and Buzzard can commit more time to PWEI in the future.
