That's one thing I'm glad I didn't have the suffer! I wear small or medium, couldn't have dealt with merchandise that looked like maternity nighties.

Personally I think exclusive "physical" singles / remixes etc would be great for the site - just short run stuff where the *real* fans can get stuff that the general public can't - or even a subscription service like U2 do where they send out a fanclub exclusive release each year, but only to paid up members.

Call me old'-school, but I'm still a big fan of video clips and remixes / singles etc and actually having a physical copy of stuff (even if I have to make it / burn it myself), so making content like that available as downloads (with artwork etc) could be another option if actual production costs are too high.

Just PLEASE don't go down the same path as UNKLE where they release, re-release & re-re-re-release the same shit over & over & over again with a couple of new tracks & just more expensive artwork - diamond encrusted vinyl sleeves & that shit!
Sure... it's nice to have, but not all of the *real* fans are high-paid executives that can afford GBP100 for a limited edition 1 track vinyl release!

Don't get me wrong.. I will shell out whatever cash I can afford for PWEI releases - reissues, deluxe editions, vinyl, tshirts, posters, snow-globes etc (but I will draw the line at polo shirts!) - just don't go taking the piss for the sake of making a few extra quid!

As for merch - old t-shirt designs, new t-shirt designs... I really don't mind... I'll buy whatever you guys put up!

oh & Symbian apps too please - I still love my Nokia & don't want to have to get an iPhone just because I can't get the PWEI app for my Nokia!

I agree about the physical releases, personally I like the 12" + free download thing for singles myself.

And I don't care if he's not in the band anymore, I want a Clinton Poppie wig.
