Looks like they have spun it for a cheap headline. I imagine there were technical issues and Ian was joking around.

However you might see some 'drama' as Shane Meadows is filming all this for a doc. Wouldn't be to exciting if it was all hugs and smiles would it?

I could never really get into them either. I like a few of their songs but I thought they were a bit wanky, no real oomph to them (unlike the mighty PWEI for example) but perhaps thats why people liked them.

I was massively into them in my teens around Second Coming time (I was in a band with no drummer for one afternoon, we could only play a 20 minute instrumental version of Breaking into Heaven), but they're one of those bands I just grew out of & only really like the odd tune nowadays

I think John Squire forming the Arsehoses, sorry Seahorses shattered their mystique quite a bit & Ian Brown's just got on my tits more & more over the years.

Mani still seems like a top bloke though

I missed their first album coming out and tried to get into them when the 2nd one was released but it wasn't good enough.

Still like some of the 1st album though.

I'm off to Heaton Park in a couple of weeks if they can hold it together that long. I've seen the singer from the Seahorses Chris Helme a few times solo and he is pretty good, although the Seahorses songs are very much the highlight of the set.
