Recently watched and enjoyed Seraphim Falls.

I always thought the Brosnan role was probably written for Clint Eastwood but I do think Brosnan does a really good job.

The first 20 mins is brilliant.

I caught Captain America the other day, too. It was a solid throw back to the Golden Age, I dug it. Did you stay after the credits for the glimpse at The Avengers? Not too much in terms of spoilers, but good to see it's definitely in the works.

BTW, if you haven't had the chance to watch Mirage Man I highly recommend it.

Sort of off topic but is anybody else kind of annoyed at how quickly some of these reboots are occuring? We've a new Spiderman on its way plus another new Superman (http://collider.com/superman-man-of-ste ... ge/107472/) not five minutes since the last outings. I sort of despair with seeing the origin stories yet again. Ouch, Peter Parker gets bitten. Kerpow Bruce Waynes Dad takes one for the team again. C'mon, we all know that stuff.

And with next years Batman film being the last that Nolan is doing it means we can expect another Batman (complete with Wayne Snr hitting the deck) in about 5 years.

Origin films are starting to bore me terribly. I popped in the 1989 version of Batman the other night and was pleasantly surprised that there is little to no Origin of Batman. From the first 10 minutes he's an established character and they treat the audience with enough respect to go from there. I've yet to see any decent superhero films with that kind of writing, the kind that is clever enough that new people can jump in right away and the old guard is fan-boy'ish because they know so much about what brought the character there.

I used to review movies for Chud.com, so perhaps I'm in that mode lately. I don't have time to watch everything, so I like to pick and choose what's worth catching and what I can live with knowing what other people have said. I.E. The Godfather, Avatar, etc...

The Mist is amazing. The ending is very bleak. Won't say too much more, it's best seen not knowing too much about it. Directed by Frank Darabont.
