I like PWEI so I guess I belong here.
I could be wrong, since all these discussions about Radiohead means maybe it's not about PWEI. Does it mean we get to discuss IDM? I love Boards of Canada and need to get into Plaid and U-Ziq.
As for the topic, I'm only 17 and discovered PWEI a year ago, the year I decided to listen to more Industrial music. They are a studio band to me, but a great one. They're so original, unique, imaginative and full of life. Few bands make 'happy' music like they do. I'm not sure if PWEI are the best, but they ARE one of the best bands I've heard, and with albums like CFS and This Is This, calling them the best ever sounds very reasonable to me.
By the way, Never Mind the Bollocks and Three Imaginary Boys don't come close to the aforementioned album. Okay, "Boys Don't Cry" is amazing, but that album is just good where CFS is a whole piece. As for Sex Pistols - uuuuuuuuuuuuugh. I guess I had to be there. I prefer Rotten in Leftfield's "Open Up".
ARE YOU
AWARE?
