Think we'll get a remix album?

While I do like those Asbo Kid remixes of Chaos & Mayhem, I could live without a remix LP. I agree about the Prodigy remixes, Liam's own mix is good but the rest... meh.

I remember a review of (possibly) 'Two Fingers my Friends' which simply said: 'You can't polish a turd', which although harsh, made me smile!
I hope there isn't a remix album, I'd rather they just got on with the NEXT album, I can't be doing with all this waiting around...

I'd absolutely love a remix LP by people like the artists already mentioned in thread, and / or by Justice / Soulwax / Miike Snow / Empire of the Sun / Crystal Castles / Jamaica / Sleigh Bells etc

Doubt we will.

For a start, there is, in all probability, an almost endless amount of unused working mixes from NNFAS, if the 6 discs of Vile Evils working material is anything to go by.

Secondly, does anyone know how many NNFAS has actually sold? No. 173 was it? Whats the chance of a follow up disc of remixes? In commercial terms, unlikely.

Thirdly, if there is, It would probably a collection of remixes bundled together digitally anyway, as a itunes release. Why? Physical manufacturing and origination costs would be zero.

Maybe an EP - well i hope so.

I would love to see Back 2 Business taken further, made longer - and a good remix should secure this.

A good mix of Chaos & Mayhem wouldn't go amiss. The production on the album version hurts so bad.

Maybe I shouldn't be so picky, but it was far and away my favourite Vile Evils live track. Can't believe how wrong the PWEI version went.

Still a cracker live but.

The Sonovonne remix of C&M is rubbish. Loving the remixes of "Nofear" and "Wasted", though they are officially VE tracks in those guises.

Remixes are good if they enhance the original. Crap if all they are is the remixers own bleeps and beats with s tiny hint of the original. Most of TFMF was the former. A few of the latter crept in.
