So we'll be needing a venue for pre-gig drinks then. Don't think there's much near the venue itself.

Best place in town is Firebug, it's a short trek but a great place to meet up.

Right round the corner from The Soundhouse you have The Exchange Bar & Manhattan 34 which are both pretty decent - might be an option for you.
