Odd that you think this is bad...
With Beautiful Noise, they implied a long tail (though it's been longer than expected). They've been upfront enough that I'm not too bothered (personally).
Some (with framework in place) can move faster. Some working more independently (PWEI) are slower. Add the international issue for signed stuff... the only REAL delay has been the vinyl... and if you read anything about RSD, it implies REALLY long waits for pressing - and I suspect they couldn't get in line (such as it were) until they had the funding confirmed for fear of putting a payment down and not making their funding mark.
They've been a little less regular on the updates - but regular enough that it hasn't bothered me - and we got the digital files right away, so I've been listening to everything... maybe I'm giving too much slack - but it's so much better than the VE stuff, so maybe that's set an unfair baseline? LOL
(That being said - I've had some REALLY fast turnarounds - Mike Doughty was lightning fast with vinyl, but I suspect he fronted the cash before closing the Pledge so he could be in line already)
