Having not seen the poppies since the early 90's I couldn't wait to see them at BD, but was worried when I realised only Graham was from the original line up. (I had to sell my reformation ticket as my son was due to be born...) .My worries were ill-founded; I was totally impressed by them, despite the odd missed lyric. Can't wait now for the new album.

I must admit I was surprised by the tracks they played, are some owned by Clint and verboten? For a festie performance I would have like a few more classics thrown in...

For the last few tracks my 6yr old joined me down the front (on my shoulders and visible in the youtube vids - proud father moment!), and he's now a convert

Sorry that I have only just got around to doing this. I've been a bit busy what with one thing and another.

Anyway, here are a few of my pictures from Beautiful Days.

I really enjoyed the set. Having seen the original PWEI plenty of times from Reading Festival in 1989 up to Reformation at Shepherd's Bush Empire, I was a little worried that I wouldn't be impressed. It was obviously different to the original line-up, but great fun nontheless!

Enjoy the photos. They're not exactly David Bailey standard, but unfortunately Gra, Mary et al wouldn't keep still for me. Come to think of it, I wasn't that still either!
