This is a really nice idea - I shall be following that blog from now I think.
Also gave votes to Skinny Puppy, Front Line Assembly, Nine Inch Nails, Ministry, Prince, Pixies, New Order, The Wonder Stuff and finally The Cure which I'm afraid probably would be my absolute top choice.
There's a lot of records there that I've not heard before though so maybe this will spur me on to check them out.

Voted PWEI, Jesus Jones, Faith No More, Wonder Stuff, NIN. I thought I only had 5 votes. Would've cast extras for De La and Beasties and I forgot the rest. I imagine the XTC album was great but I hadn't heard it in 20 years.

I'm just sorry I didn't think to post the links earlier. They've been doing this all year, covering 1980 - 1989, one year each month. I don't know if they'll run into the 90's at all, because the site is dedicated to "80's music". Oh well.

It's also nice to see others like some of the same things I voted for: Renegade Soundwave, Meat Beat Manifesto, Skinny Puppy... but the site didn't include MC 900ft Jesus - Hell with the Lid Off. I had to do a write in vote for that.
