Remember reading somewhere that picture discs are of lower playing quality then normal black vinyl. Always wondered if it was true or not & whether it was the same for coloured vinyl. My opinion is picture discs do seem to have more hiss & pops than black vinyl but just my version. Coloured vinyl depends on the quality of the vinyl I think, 180gm vinyl sounds very nice normally even when coloured. Interesting about white vinyl sounding better though, might have to try it and see.
