My absolute favourite new band of the last few years is Fight Like Apes. Have listened to their first two albums to death and seen them over a half-dozen times since I discovered them, now eagerly awaiting their third album to drop later this year.

Also I recently bought up a fair sized record collection that I'm sorting through...loads of Spacemen 3 / Loop and the like which I only have bits and bobs of on CD. Rocking Sonic Booms Spectrum LP...also listening to a lot of goth stuff in there - Creatures (think I've found the track PWEI cut up for the weird vocals on Orgyone Stimulator / the live version of Inject me) Bauhaus, This Mortal Coil and the like.

Loving the Creatures cover of Herbie Mann / Mel Tormes 'Right Now' as sampled for DC1. Just cannot seem to get away from PWEI!
