An awesome album, released on my birthday 1989! Though I never heard of the poppies until a couple of years later.

Clear as day the memoery of bunking off to get this on gatefold LP as son as HMV opened...and spending all day listenng to it. It's my favourite LP ever if you didn't guess.

It was around July when I got introduced.

Well worth celebrating. 25 years eh? Still sounds absolutely fantastic.
Only discovered PWEI around '94, but Perverted, Wise Up and Can U Dig It were definite indie disco staples at that time.
Anyway, *raises glass* 'Cheers!'

25 years old and still sounds bloody awesome as always!

I saw them for the third or fourth time at Manchester International on May 5th 1989 having bought the album (on tape) earlier in the week. Think John Moore & Expressway were supporting. Seem to remember this was an absolutely monumental gig. That 25 years has gone quick....

Got it on the day of release, was blown away by it, never before or never since has an album stunned me the way this did, imho the greatest album of all time, love it!!!! And where the fuck did 25 years go????
