So apparently there is an option for a vinyl release of the new PWEI album on Cooking Vinyl (based on demand).

Just think kids... brand new PWEI sounds pressed on full sized deliciously sexy vinyl - brand new Designers Republic artwork at a proper size - the same pop & crackle of all your other PWEI albums...
Can't you just see it now sitting nicely alongside your PWEI vinyl collection...?!?!

I know I'd be in for a couple of copies of that tasty tasty goodness... so kinda figure if we can get enough replies & interest going here, maybe the label will take notice & get it happening.

I'd buy vinyl over cd every day of the week. Vinyl + download code = best format going.

Ps- a few years ago I was part of a 100 strong crowd from his forum who bought a specially pressed super ltd version of Steve Mason's (ex Beta Band) king biscuit time album. Worked really well, so it can be done, even on that scale if needs be. Fingers crossed it'll get a full release though.

I'll get both the vinyl and CD versions, more than anything I just want the vinyl version to get the artwork in a larger format.

no rumour about it... "a source close to the artist" has said that it is on a "let's see how sales go" basis, so I kinda figure if we get enough interest going here, we may just be able to convince CV to make it happen!

Well i would have an interest - not really sure why as i'd probably never play it. I thought the vinyl junkie in me died 10 years ago but when i move in a couple of years i would like to have a room decorated with pop culture and sticking a few classic album covers in frames was one of the idea's (my wife is not too keen on the idea )
