Hi all,

OK we have tried this over the years with zero results...the idea? to compile an album of PWEI cover versions by board members.

Lets have another go...there are now a couple of fan covers linked to on here. If those peeps want to be on the complitation can they pm me links to either lossless wavs or 320 lossless mp3's at least of these tracks and full credits too?

Everyone else? I know some people have started work but never finished. Well get cracking!

I'm happy to compile and create art for a single or double CD album and sort out distributing it in a few formats via here if that's ok. I'll even promise to finish the cover version of Orgone Stimulator I started (started as in thought about it) a while ago.

Deadline? Lets say all submissions for start of Dec this year for a 'release' in Jan 2013. We could make it more interesting by having all new covers fom now not linked to here before the release so it's all fresh to everyone when it's ready? You could however post here with news of your intended cover so we don't get 20 versions of Wise Up! Sucker.

I'm sure that's the sound of you all plugging in your guitars and stylophones.

So the guidelines if this kicks off?

Covers only - no remixes or mash ups.

Post your intended cover here - doesn't mean no one else can do that song too - just a heads up.

PM me a link to your finished cover before or on the first week of Dec 2012 with a full list of credits for the track.

Keep your cover under wraps if you want to...if we have all heard every cover before we let the LP loose it wont be as much fun!

How bout challeging someone to do something obscure like "100% is it"? Its sounds like a good song but the only version of it I've heard is the Hammersmith live bootleg. the sound is crap and I can't really hear it properly. I think a fan cover could really do it justice. Unless o corse Graham might drop a studio version of it on the Diguise single....but i doubt it.

If someone could help me out with the cord charts to it i could have a go.....?

Covers of any of the unrealesed stuff from the re-issues? LIke Twilight? the clint one from TLOTLS...is that right?

I picked a b side that's all samples really so I can't go wrong can I?

Also covers by people with minimal talent who have at least made an effort?
