Ok, so after Payback's (I mean anonymous Nation member's) review of the new album is everybody more excited, less excited, or same for the new album? I must admit to be even more excited now. I like what I'm hearing from the reviews, I'm not expecting New Noise to be my favorite PWEI album but I am excited to have a new cool PWEI album.

Just thinking out loud, but as anonymous Payback asks "The ‘R.S.V.P’ sample is now missing. Can PWEI not even afford the legal wrangling of sampling and looping themselves?" - wasn't Ohm saying there's still an issue over who actually owns the DDMA stuff so maybe they just can't use the sample?
Review sounds pretty promising, don't think any of us will be too surprised. Think overall I'm expecting the album to be decent, but it's the gigs I'm really psyched for

I don't know what your talking about honest.
Chaos & Mayhem & Disguise are very similar in style. They sound the most like a full band playing. I think they are the best 2 on there because they don't sound anything like we expected...which was always the case with the every new PWEI LP...a totally new direction. They are also really excellent songs.

Apart from the 2 tracks just mentioned, the overall sound is a lot of electronic sounds like VE with a mix of live and electronic drums. However the sound is not particulary 'live' like the Fuzz era PWEI stuff - looks or DD...
Also the guitars are heavy and loud but have that 'compressed / processed' sound to them. It all sounds pretty hi tech, modern and tight, not brawly or 'live'.

In the random anonymous review, reference is made to the "Asbo Kid / Snovonne" remix of Chaos And Mayhem...
Those are two different bands (obvs) - so what's the association between the two mixes? Do both exist in full? I thought the ASBO one was only ever previewed on MySpace...

Ok, I assumed the Snovonne version was mixed or produced by Asbo Kid. If not then ingnore me. Word was that the Snovonne version was for another aborted project, nothing to do with VE. It was leaked with the 'Early Doors Demos' Is this indeed different to the Asbo Kid remix then?
