This album is astonishing on first listen. New Noise was ok, but nowhere near as accomplished as this. Fuck me, they really seem to have nailed it on first listen. I feel it may be the same on the 100th.

yep - (War Inside) My Stupid Head is one of those songs that genuinely makes me excited for rock music again.

Anyone who ordered the 3CD edition - did you get the bonus track "Smash It" on the download?

I just ordered the vinyl and the 3CD version (Looking forward to playing with some stems) and after listening to the download versions I can say that this is a definite step up from NNDBAS. Although I've only given it a once over, the song that is stuck in my head right now is Mental Pollution, I find that track is the best mix of classic PWEI with a modern feel.

Overall the album sounds much better, just in production alone. I also think my expectations were a bit more open minded this time around, as NNDBAS was mostly revealed during the VE era.

Really liking it, next on deck is Crabbi's solo.
