thing is you can buy all this stuff for pence on cd second hand...leave space for all the unreleased demos IMO.

I met up with the buzzard this morning and have some of the 96 tracks in hand, so progress is being made. Interesting to note it's a 'manufactured' and printed CDR with a printed paper sleeve, so they were obviously taking the material relatively seriously at the time.

With regards tracklists, nothing is set in stone yet, i'm very much going to leave it up to the band's discretion where possible. I also need to sort something out with Korda, of course. I don't really plan on including those covers or charity album tracks, primarily because licensing issues could become complicated, but also I tend to think they belong in that time and place really. Would a PWEI cover of "Come As You Are" really mean anything in 2012? I'm not so sure. But there'll be more than enough unheard stuff to take our minds off their absence.

So, I shall persist with the hunting down of the 96 tracks and hopefully be able to confirm a tracklist in June and get the record out in September. That's the plan at least, all being well.
