I recorded keys and guitar a couple hrs ago and am doing sequencer stuff via Pocketband on my phone, all at work. I am having a blast. It's always too freakin hot in Arizona to go out during the summer so music making and mixing becomes a priority.

I hope we see some more mainstream PWEI tracks get covered. Not that I don't love some obscurities but it would be a sad state to have a whole CD and only a couple of the singles or latter day songs present.

Yeah, and quite a bit for Box Frenzy. I was tempted to go for Get The Girl..., it's not one of my faves but I used to be able to play it.

Out of interest, does anyone know where the 'rock the show' sample in U.B.L.U.D. comes from? I can nick a similar 'rock!' sample from Run DMC but it would be nice to get the whole thing.

I thought it was Rock Man Rock from the Justified Ancients of Mumu. Forget the name of the track if that's not it.

Just did the tempo and tuning for "Eat Me Drink Me Love Me Kill Me" so I may as well take a crack at that. I also have the tabs for "Harry Dean Stanton" but the original is so epic I don't know if I can come up with anything to match the Akira samples. "Menofearthereaper" I could probably knock off in a weekend. Just thinking of latter day PWEI that could be worth doing another cover for and/ or my singer would be able to do in the brief amount of time I get access to her every month or so.

I think I could well have wrong chords for my one, I just kept mashing keys until I came up with something sounding at least similar. It might be right though.

Surely if a cover is exactly the same then it's barely worth listening too? I'm looking forward to hear people's different takes on pwei classics.
