Well here's my little bit for what it's worth. Remastered Dos Dedos far too heavy on the treble and doesn't add anything much to the original.Still remains my fave PWEI album and one of faves full stop but the original production wins hands down
Now for the 96 unreleased album and I've got to say straight up Demon, 100%is**it and I Am The One are as good as any tracks on any Poppies album I've heard - Love them so much already and hats off to Buzzard for his guitar work...just brutal.
Other tracks have more of a demo/unfinished vibe about them but deffo show what potential that album could have had.Times were sadly changing by 96 but I tell you what...this is deffo the sound myself and my mates were searching for. Hats off for it finally seeing the light of day


As an aside Adam deserves the biggest of all back slaps for his hard work with the sleeve notes ( even though I never won his akai sampler!!!) - The Dos Dedos notes were pretty tough to read as fan and I imagine alot harder to put to paper from a member of the band so thanks from the heart Ad - May your life be filled with tremendous caravans

For me the only tracks that I won't be playing again much are Big Green Head (although those guitars are great and totally Yeah! God). No Contest is a bit 'Fatman' but it's classic PWEI with a great lyric!

Great to here the seeds of 'The Hole' and RFAD scores (as well as the general sound of Clint's early work) appearing in 'I'm Gonna Get You Baby'. Seems like he had it in him before he even realised where life would take him...pre ordained!

I do wonder if those strings got added more recently in preparation for the release. Do like the way it sounds though either way.

Howdy, Im in Japan, so missed all the action. Glad people seem to like the new/old album..

For the few naysayers, I can only apologise that we only put fourteen previously unreleased tracks on there. Terrible value for money! As far as I know there really isn't much left in the vaults that the band considered worthy of public airing, DDMA or otherwise. Also, please try not to upload it to Soundcloud, Spotify or any other service if it can possibly be avoided.

Enjoy, I think it's been a cracking couple of years to be a PWEI enthusiast, all told. Personally, I really dug doing all this, and think ALOTOCB is a cracker. Unfinished music leaves something to the imagination which I really enjoy. Pick up a tennis racket or hair dryer, position yourself in front of the bedroom mirror and fill in the gaps
