Almost seems that some pressings had one version & the rest have the other!
I just bought myself another copy of it, so am interested to see which one it is when it arrives.

Superb work, and thanks to all involved.
I tried collecting all the Poppies stuff a while back, then fucked it all up. Got bogged down with duplicate recordings in variable qualities, mis-labelled tracks, incorrect details on releases, yada yada yada. Then the database of tracks disappeared. So, I know what a ballache it is.

WRT the Wise Up! radio edit, I seem to recall entering into discussion about this a while back. I think the conclusion was that the vinyl was some terribly hacked cut, with the beginning missing. The video sourced track however is the censored edit, which is what I was after.

If that's not the case, then there are different pressings of the radio edit out there. The censored, and the hacked.

Other similar projects to fall by the wayside are complete studio recordings of The Smiths, The Pistols, The Weather Prophets and The Family Cat.
Thank heavens for legacy reccd labels.

I think the matrix number will solve the Wise Up mystery...yes there are 2 versions with the same cat number and label...

Maybe they pressed the truncated version first and then had to re press to cut out the word 'ass' due to complaints?

Possible. There should be a clue in the run out grooves.

Hi,

Had a few PM's to wade through...answers below

1) I haven't Included the 2 x 'Art of Mix' DC1 remixes as they are not official. Or at least they are a bit shady. They are DJ edits not remixes and are fucking awful anyway.

1) The Suburbs version is not cut off at the beginning in error. I checked the vinyl pressing and 2 x CD issues - they all start like this.

3) A lot of peeps have offered to host WAV's / convert to Flac for both volumes - I 'll be sending out data disks this week.

Jesus wept. Sorry I've been working silly hours the last 2 weeks and I'm all tired and bleary...I have realsied I have totally failed to update the running times / total running time on the new art.

I will sort next week and put yet another link up and a link for just the corrected artwork too.
