As far as I know it just shows up wherever it wants to but how horrible.

I had shingles on my arm about 2 years ago and nearly went mad from the itching. I cannot imagine how you must feel.

For what it's worth I went for acupuncture and it cleared up quickly and never returned.

Shingles attacks your glands...you often get it in the armpit - sweat glands - or the collection of glands you have swinging between your legs. If you take the antiviral in time it stops it...I missed my opportunity as I thought it was just pain from the op.

On the mend sort of but will have to ride it out for now.
