Mmm, not liking the font used on the back sleeve, or the stretched text on the inner that reads 'now for a feast'.

I was hoping the old cut up type writer font would be used for this as it wasn't on the CR re-issue either.

I have just had word from the pressing plant and the vinyl is not going to be delivered to us until the last week of November. I would like to point out that this was the earlier date that I was given after I created merry hell and spoke to the boss following a 17th December delivery date being quoted.

The usual excuses of peak season, box sets, special editions etc..

So, release date with the distributor is going to be 10 December

Sorry about the delay,I'm not happy about it at all but I have done all I can to speed it up

Mine arrived at work this morning. I must admit that I'm a bit disappointed that the Love Missile artwork in the middle of the gatefold is all pixellated, the rest looks nice though.

It's just arrived. Packaging is pretty nice in parts really but it's a waste of a gatefold sleeve. That f1 -11 pic is awful. If it's intentional it's wack. If it's an error then it's lazy. Images should embedded hi -res - looks like the image is linked instead. The orange vinyl looks great though.

Clint's MOON gatefold had a lo res image in the middle of the gate fold too. It's a schoolboy error. Should be picked up by the repro team, unless you printer doesn't care. Which a lot don't.

Also the lovely orange insert is wasted by distorting the NFAF text. It doesn't look good.

And now I've paid for it...I can have pop at it - Cramming the full NFAF track list on one side of the vinyl? Not going to sound great I expect.

Track listing is a bit of backwards step. There is a lot of BF era stuff on there. Cherry Red have done a great job but I think if you are going to license PWEI stuff for 'deluxe' vinyl pressings then you need to put a lot more thought and care into it to match those.

This is halfway to be being good but a bit of a let down really.

More care is needed on the artwork for any future releases and this amount of tracks really needs a double LP treatment.

I got out f the wrong side of the bed today which is why I'm also annoyed that they tracklisting is in purple, not orange, and the cartoon is poorly scanned in and looks bad.

What a grump.

The O.N sticker seal is cool though.

Yeah, I though the ON sticker was a nice touch.

I'm fine with the tracklisting colour, it might get a bit boring if it was all black and orange, and I assume it's a nod to the Sweet Sweet Pie 7" artwork which makes sense with the cartoon stuff next to it.

It doesn't bother me too much but it is a bit of an odd thing to stretch and squash the various bits of artwork.
