Brian wilson- merley a coincedence. I'm pretty sure he's not from the beach boys. that was just the name I got from the email adress of the dude who emailed me the mp3 of Everything's cool. I assume he's floating around this website undera sudonim of some sort that reflects nothing of the beach boys. lol.

The version o frends was good. A few posts back on this thread. Can't down load it tho so make sure you send it Payback 3000 so he can add it to the Cover project 2012.

Could be a good project. I'd listen.

Hey 3000
Are you gonna put in official covers on this project?

The Wonderstuff - Inside you.
I didn't mind the GFGC820 version of Ich Bin... any seconders? Die Krupps did a cover too didn't he.
Scorpio Rising did Evelyn didn't they?
There is also an stringed quartette in Australia called Four Play who also did Auslander. its pretty funny hearing conservetorian trained musicians singing clints lyrics. Not a bad rendition though- cirtainly a different take if you wanna really mix it up on the project.

Can anyone think of any other Official Poppie cover out there while I'm sufing itunes?? Surely trent reznor woulda covered one o their songs by now?

I was only going to compile fan covers really.

If someone gets me all the files I need for 'released' covers by recording artists I could put together a bonus 'disk' though. I have the Wonderstuff version of Inside you. They released a live version too I think, but did they re-record it as part of the cash in, sorry, sorry anniversary album re-recording they did?

I'd rather keep that collating separate to the fans project...

You're probably right 3000. Its better to keep em seperate. You can find most of the official covers on itunes anyway! Although i wasn't able to find die krupps version of Auslander or Scorpio rising doing Evelyn.

hello again

seems like a massive punt up on this thread, but I thought that better than start a new one. We've got a video now for Def Con Wan. Not sure how to / if it's possible to put videos on this forum but here's a link for and a link for done by video artist Instamtic.

Hope you enjoy, and looking forward to hearing your feedback.

Mods - if this is inappropriate, please delete this of course, and please accept my advance apologies.
