The Spirtiualized SE of LAGWAFIS is a great example of this... 2 disks worth of early ideas, tests and demos...all programmed to create a 2hr plus version of the LP...it works as a listen and is a great way of fans hearing how this sort of stuff comes together (no pun intended)

As for the PWEI stuff - the demos are really valuable to the fans as way of seeing how the band worked songs up. Clint's demo of DC1 is amazing...really raw and sounds like it was quickly knocked up, but the meat of a a classic track is all there!

So that's 13 tracks from 96 then, i must admit to being a bit heartbroken about not hearing all of them but look forward to hearing whichever ones make it.

Very excited bout this release. Must disagree with the guy who said (and I'm paraphrasing) he'd through 'Demon' under the bus to hear secure a place for the unreleased stuff. I think the sonic noise byte version is heaps better than any VE version- the live drums make it a much warmer sound and better journey than the programmed crap.
In a perfect world we all would want all 13 tracks regardless of quality. It gives us a good peace of history we've all missed out on. WE NEED. But if you guys are going to throw any tracks under the bus, please don't throw any of the sonic noise byte tracks out or the four tracks that were bootlegged live post Gray- 100%, hang man, easy or I am the one. Coz the sound of the bootleg is crap and we need higher quality on these.
Also please big Green head! WTF?! is that about?
Oh and I vote Drone Ranger mix too! Plus Rsvp fluke mixes but not Supper or the one TFMF disc 2... But yeah bring it all on. I'd love to hear a drill solo! And id love to hear what the Buzzard brought to the party.
Also...you mentioned they even had artwork ready for this stuff? Ant chance theDR will make an appearance on this?

Pleaseee include all the 1996 tracks! As much as I'd love to hear the b-sides (as I've never heard them before) I could always hunt them down on ebay...but the 96 songs are another thing all together!

Signing up for this board has become something of a heartbreak. I keep hearing about tracks I've never heard and can't find. My non-album tracks collection is only a handful of mp3s. Grrrrr. So frustrating. Hangman? 100%.? Easy? Is there a CPI #1? Wild West? Let It Flow? How does one find them? I know Wild West and Let It Flow are on an import of DDMA that I've yet to come across in the states. And these are just the ones I've heard about... If this DDMA re-issue comes out, I hope to finally hear at least *2* of these songs.

I've found old megaupload (rubbish) links to PWEI tracks I've yet to hear and can't find them elsewhere yet. It's driving me a bit bonkers is all. Got no cash to buy an extra copy of DDMA as an import to hear Wild West and Let It Flow. I didn't mean it as anything bad about the board. I thought they might at least be on YouTube or Soundcloud for a listen, but no (at least to my searching so far). My favorite band has songs I haven't heard. (That last sentence should be read as if you heard it in a horror movie trailer for extra impact.) Also, maybe I haven't read enough of this boards' threads yet... Loved PWEI since Box Frenzy, but still pretty new to this forum.
