My mistake, 'Easy' is there too. It's got a peculiar drill solo or something on it. Good tune.
We might do some kind of comp of the bonus tracks, but I'm not sure. In terms of the band's archive, I think this is just about it. A few remixes and versions aside, but thats about it.
With regards the band's involvement, I try to give everyone the chance to be as involved or not as they want to be. Adam's been invaluable, the main source of tracks, information, cuttings and so on, Clints been interested too and the others fairly casual about it all, which is fine by me. So far, only one track was vetoed, which was the original demo of "Karmadrome" which nobody was hugely keen on. Otherwise, tt's been a pleasure. I can't say I've counted, but I think by the time DDMA comes out we will have released maybe forty odd previously unheard or never before on CD tracks, which is very obliging of the band compared to some artists.
We get the odd one who doesn't want any of the 'behind the scenes' material heard, will only permit the polished to perfection stuff, which I've never really understood. To me, recording is a progressive process, and the demos and alternate takes shine new light on the finished product. Manys a Friday afternoon I've wasted listening to those "Story Of Strawberry Fields" bootlegs, all the way from Lennon playing the intro on a melodica in an American hotel room in about '64 through to the finished master. Fascinating stuff, to my mind.
Aaaanyway, I'll confirm all the details when we're all agreed.
