I bought the Random album solely because it had a PWEI track on in. I was disappointed to say the least (it's worth buying the album for most of the other tracks on there though, some of the last stuff from EMF and Jesus Jones is on there, Dave Clarke's Cars is utter bollocks though), it sounds like second rate NIN to me and I don't like NIN! I'm hoping the 96 album is better than that. I just hope it has a bit more colour to it, Friends is very one-dimensional, very monochrome, Poppies tunes should sparkle!

I've never heard of this Random album or the PWEI cover so I've just ordered it. No idea what I was doing around that time as I missed the Poppies at Alleycat as well.
Shame the Random album hasnt got the Damned's peel session version of Cars on it, but I dont supposed you'd get away with that nowadays - offensive and funny, just what a cover should be
