I used to have lot of SSS stuff up to the send LP...I like Love Missile and a couple more singles...however I liked the ideas and the packaging / image stuff more than the music...I used ot have the box set of the 1st LP but it got crushed when I moved years ago. Still have about 5 x 12" of LM and the firs LP.

I think they are a bit before my time, tbh. Saw them at a club near Kings Cross about ten years ago..... Well, I say I saw them, I remember they were playing at a club I was going to.......

The SSS site is really good - the story of the band a great read. Also looking forwards to the future vintage tee re-issues.

Sonic Boom Boy by Westworld was a good ex Generation X member single. Better than Billy Idol in the Wedding Singer anyway

I dug out what remains of my SSS collection last night - 4 x LM 12"s, the 1st LP, 21st Century 12" ect...I have to be honest, the OG mix of Love Missile apart, I still find the music toxic...zero ideas and what sounds like a cat running up and down a sampler all the time. However I love the visual ideas and you can see tDR propably took cues from the fake corporate ID and Jap stuff for PWEI / AOC projects.

I admire the cheek of selling basically nothing but I can't listen to them for more than 2 minutes these days : - )

Probably going ot buy a few tees though!
