I reckon nomorefakereunions' viewpoint on this is entirely fair enough, and I agree with it to a certain extent.

I don't really see the point in banging on about it though, either enjoy the new band, or don't.

Graham's being very economical with the truth in the Sky sports interview.

IF the 2005 shows were meant as a "goodbye" from the band why was there open talk of more shows and a new album?

and defending the legitimacy of the new lineup by saying "No one (from the old band) had made a claim." is more a way of saying "the rest of the band don't have the (large amount of) money needed to take me to court"

Still, you can always try to diminish the strength of the argument of people who think this whole thing may be a little dodgy by calling us hilarious anal retentives with nothing better to than bitch on the internet, or opportunistic egotists who form a new band and steal another bands name by Skype : if we want to get into namecalling. I'd rather not.

I got the impression maybe in that Sky interview Crabbi thought they meant had another band taken the name (rather than other band members), hence: "No one else has a stake to the name?" "Nobody's made a claim yet; it's a pretty unusual one."

Fair point on the "goodbye from the other band members". Wasn't meant to be a goodbye at the time; just ended up being so in retrospect.

If I'm wrong, I'm wrong and I don't mind being wrong because I don't know everything - as many of us don't. There's a world of difference between thinking I'm full of shit - and disagreeing with my opinion. If you think I'm not entitled to have an opinion, you're wrong. But saying I'm full of shit because you disagree with me? You made yourself look something there.
