Can't say it'll trouble the upper reaches of my all time fave PWEI songs list, I found it fairly average but it could well grow on me. I'm still confident there's going to be plenty on New Noise... that's gonna grab my attention though.

I am so used to the actual song that it is tricky to treat it as something new.

I tend to agree with one of the comments - too polished, it seems to lack the edge i expected. That said i like it, have done for a few years now - it will be played to death by me (once i record with a sound card recorder later) and the wife will be fed up with it by the time its actually released.

Earlier comment of sounding like Primal Scream actually sent a ripple of excitement through me last night - but this morning i have to disagree with that , nothing like em (big Scream fan though so probably hear them a little different to others here).

I like it. Sounds much better played loud (not sure our elderly neighbour will have thought so at 8am, but hey ho...)

Bizarrely that's the second time that Steve Lamacq, Reading Festival and PWEI have come together for me in the last week: he was stood in front of me on the Saturday last weekend whilst I was wearing a PWEI shirt. Freaky(!)

For me it's a huge improvement on the production of the (admittedly perhaps not properly mastered) vileevils version.

It seems the guitars are quite compressed and not very raw. Is that the issue everygeek, or is it just the whole thing?..
