Vintage PWEI Clobber

Morning all, with the recent re-releases of every album, I've rediscovered my passion for all things PWEI. I first saw PWEI play at Reading 1989, to be honest, I thought the gig was shite at the time. Forgive me If I was wrong, but I had gothic bias going on, it took a couple of months and a chance listen to This is the Day... to reveal the error of my thinking.

By the by, what I do remember was looking back across the crowd at Reading and seeing someone wearing a Wise Up Sucker T-Shirt (I'm sure it was one) The T-shirt had the vertical PWEI logo set against radiating concentric circles in Dayglo orange and probably other little TDR symbols. I saw the same T-shirt out and about at other locations around that era then it was seen no more.

I've looked around online and have never seen a picture of it since, does anyone recall that design, did you have the T-shirt? Have you got a pic?

It's a bit before my time but I think that could be a Can U Dig It? t-shirt.

Did it look a bit like the t-shirt here in the 5th row, second from left?

Thanks for posting, It must have undoubtably been the one you pointed out. It's funny how memory can dress things up differently! Yes, I'm pretty sure it was that one, those circles are unmistakeable. What a fantastic collection of cool clobber, such a shame many are no longer available.

That's a great set of t-shirts there. I'd love to get my hands on one now - without paying loads on ebay mind you.
New PWEI tees aint quite the same.

I did have the grey skater one, back in the day. Not exactually classic DR but it served me well through the mid 90s.
Pretty sure I picked it up in Camden or Carnaby St or something...

Still wear mine underneath t-shirts to gigs in Winter to save time retrieving coats at the end of the show.........the sleeves are a little hole-y but just adds to the retro-chic

Got a good 10 years out of the Skateboard long sleeve, but sadly was beyond repair by 2003...

Anyone else have that thing of the glittery stuff coming off in the first wash?
