I remember Sheep On Drugs had their own "Rubber Johnnies" branded condoms for sale at gigs circa 1994 but I've noticed I see a lot more unusual merch at gigs these days (for bigger bands at least obviously - not the ones down the local pub).
Apart from the increasingly common male and female underwear (panties, throngs and even y-fronts) and babygrows there's a lot more stuff like tea-towels, ties and other more unusual items cropping up these days as bands try to maximise revenue. At a gig at Jodrell Bank last year British Sea Power were selling their own boxes of fudge with a postcard of them stuck on the front, and of course Mr Scruff has his own range of teabags and tea caddies!
