Friday night was awesome! JJ played a blinding set - the keyboard player was fantastic! Thanks to the guy who pointed out a space near the front for me and the missus. Against the barriers for PWEI and Floz had Mary's crotch in her face when him and Crabbi went down the front, so a brush with stardom there... Really tight sound and the drummer was unbelievable - totally top job: defo on a par with Fuzz. Stuffies were good but ducked out in the song after CircleSquare but before that was chuffed to hear some classic tunes in their set

jas, you weren't a twonker from my perspective, quite the opposite in fact - was great to chat again (and thanks for the email, will get back to you soon!)

Had a really great night, was lovely to see everyone again and jump around a bit. JJ were ace, and naturally the Poppies were phenomenal (technical hitches withstanding). Was brilliant to hear PWEIzation, Radio PWEI and Wake Up, hopefully Crabbi's planning to throw in some more classics next time around!

I lasted four songs into the Wonder Stuff, just wasn't in the mood for them.

Right, back at work today - foot still throbbing, always a sign of a good night when I cant walk for days after

Jesus Jones, I had been secretly looking forward to seeing them (1st time) for weeks and wasn't let down. Then the main event, got down there and boogied - echoing most said already really, hearing radio PWEI live again was a joy - not sure who that was on my right singing away with me but if your here hello!

Sadly the old right foot popped towards the end of the poppies set, but shit happens! As I was more than a little merry I hung around for the Wonderstuff and have to say I was impressed - very entertaining and a certain Mr Townshend on fine form behind the skins (great view from the bar).
Sorry I lost you all really, did hang around outside for a while but then hopped to the station, but it was good to see the "usual suspects" again and a shame that a couple were missing.

Hope those of your travelling made it home okay - pay no attention to Jason, he is excellent company and very entertaining when he has had a couple you didn't actually get my name wrong, you just asked me where Brett had gone. But as I mentioned on the mail its not like you smoked in the venue then grappled the bouncer or anything like that ( )

Looking forward to the next one that's for sure and reading about Birmingham has made me a little jealous that I missed the Rich / Fuzz return - surely a short tour to support the new album is due................

Just not sure how far away that will be.
