Tune into Mary Ann Hobbs Show next weekend on 6music (7-10 am!) to hear an extensive interview with our Clint! It looks like it's split over the two days. Blurb from their website says:
Grammy nominated soundtrack composer Clint Mansell talks in depth to Mary Anne in the Key Of Life interview.
The once Pop Will Eat Itself front man, has scored some of the most recognisable film soundtracks this century. 'Requiem For A Dream', 'The Wrestler', 'Smokin' Aces', 'The Fountain' and (with Mary Anne) Grammy nominated "Black Swan" are in his highlights.
For BBC Radio 6 Music's celebration of the Sound Of Cinema, Clint takes a break from his work on next year's epic 'Noah', to talk to Mary Anne in the Key Of Life interview. She will ask him what it takes to compose the perfect soundtrack, how a boy from Coventry ends up working with Hollywood's finest, plus his thoughts on the art of composing, and the art of living.
The BBC's Sound of Cinema season pays homage to the great soundtracks of the movies/The BBC's Sound of Cinema season is dedicated to the composers, songs and film scores that form the soundtrack to the big screen. The season features a major BBC Four series and programming across BBC radio.

Clint is also in the doc on BBC4 - wasn't in the first ep but a clip of him doing MOON was in the series intro.

Been listening to Hobbs in bed the last two mornings. The interview is split into little nuggets every half hour or so which is annoying. Worth the listen definitely but doesn't reveal too much that us die hard fans wouldn't already know.
