Tell us of your bargain finds.

I've just replaced my "cure for a sanity" CD as my original was looking a little worse for wear . Can you believe I picked it up for just 80p from Ebay. What a bargain and while I was at it I picked up 6 PWEI CD singles for £1.46. Has anyone else had similar good fortune?

I've replaced most of my battered PWEI CD's and records since the Reformation.

CD singles for 1p - 99p? Yes...Mint Def Con One CD Single for £1.99? Yes! CD albums for 80p - £2? Yes!

Best was probably the US promo cassette of This Is This is This for 99p. It balances out though as it ended up with postage costing me £47 for the Brazillian LP issues of TITD and CFS in one parcel and £26 for the OZ gatefold CFS LP which is far from mint.

I always got a good bargain in Woolworths bargain bin after the record would chart and then go out of the charts two weeks later. Wise up sucker 10" and Def Con 1 cd single were purchesed for 50pence plus numerous other indie/goth classics. The day of release was also good as the local record shop would knock them out for 99p on all formats for the first few days, parents could not understand why I would come home with four differnt versions of the same single.

Picked up the vinyl picture disc of Cure For Sanity for £2.00 a few weeks ago, Vinyl in mint condition and insert a little creased but good for it's age! Also picked up a red vinyl signed Beaver Patrol for £3.00 off Ebay even though i already have a copy.
Not PWEI but bought the original copy of Muse's Muscle Museum for £6.00 when it came out and seen it go for over £200 on Ebay and Discogs.
Got Terrorvisions live at Don Valley cd promo for a £1 out of a thrift shop a few years back & worth about £70

If we're going to go off PWEI topic then I can add a minty copy of Graham Colliers UK jazz classic 'Darius' LP - 50p - street value - £50 and a copy of the Demon Fuzz LP on Dawn for £3 - street value £150.

Charity shops used to be good!
