Dos Dedos Mis Amigos (Japan Import)

Postby Ugly Goblin Boy » Thu Oct 13, 2011 2:05 pm

Quick question, does anyone actually own it? It's ridiculously expensive and the bonus tracks are found on a number of other releases. I have a version on my HD, but the mix also seems a bit loud. No matter the volume on my stereo, I hear clipping at times. Any thoughts?

I dont own it as I've never found a mint copy with the obi strip. There is one copy on Amazon US for $40 but no obi strip. I'm holding out for a mint copy.

I suppose that is also what's held me back, the fact that they are extremely expensive and nothing that indicates a mint copy. I haven't heard this version discussed much, but to me it seems like a bit of a wash. The completest in me wants to buy it, but my mortgage and girlfriend say "you don't need it" ;)

I have it, I've not listed to the actual CD for years though (normally just use FLAC's these days tbh) so don't remember any volume issues. I'll have to dig it out for a listen...

MAN

I am also looking for it. CPI and Intense are on Two Fingers, but how can I get my hands on Let It Flow and Wild West?

Got it a few years back... lucked into a copy (with OBI) for about $25 or $30... was right happy about that!

Would suspect those tracks on the eventual re-issue...

I got a copy of it brand new back in the day & can't say I have noticed any issues with volume & must say it is one of my all time favourite "Japanese" editions of any band that I own!

I actually have Jap editions of This Is The Day... (original & re-issue), Cure For Sanity, Looks Or The Lifestyle & Dos Dedos & can highly recommend all of them! (although CFS doesn't really have any extra tracks - but still... nice to have in the collection!)
point blank, zero return...
