"With all due respect to Clint, I think it's a shame his soundtrack are more orchestral and symphonic (Which makes them sound like every other film score, only slightly better) than electronic (Which made him sound like he's in league with Underworld and Future Sound of London). I mean, 'Lux Aeterna" and "Together We Will Live Forever" are great, but "Party", "Supermarket Sweep" and "Dr. Pill" are so good I have no idea why he didn't extend them - I would be ecstatic if I made stuff as good as this.[/quote]"
Reason i chose the Fountain is that the unusual and unique choice of Mogwai dong the 'Rock' instrumentation and kronos Quarter doing the string parts makes it sound like nothing else I've ever heard, at all.And thats what makes it stand apart from every other score I've heard.
I've alsonoticed that much as "Lux Aterna" appeared to turn up on trailers and TV all the time about five years ago, now its Stuff from "The Fountain". Can't be all that bad.
